ANNOUNCEMENT

We are pleased to inform you the U.S.-China Policy Foundation (USCPF) has resumed production of the China Forum- an educational television program devoted exclusively to China. Each week moderator Chi Wang, President of USCPF, will discuss contemporary issues relating to China with a diverse panel of experts. The China Forum is an educational and informational program with the purpose of aiming to help Americans better understand China and does not advocate any specific policies towards China. The program is scheduled to be broadcast every Sunday morning at 8:30am on WNVC/MHz Channel 56 throughout the Washington DC metropolitan area. For Cox Cable TV and Comcast Cable schedules, please consult their websites.

On our first program, we welcome Professor David M. Lampton of Johns Hopkins-SAIS to discuss China’s Communist Party’s 17th Party Congress. This program is scheduled to air Sunday, November 4.

The United States-China Policy Foundation has been producing the China Forum since May 1993, and it is still the only educational television program devoted exclusively to China. Each week moderator Kerry Dumbaugh, an Asia specialist at the Congressional Research Service, discusses contemporary issues relating to China with a diverse panel of experts. Our list of distinguished guests includes high-ranking U.S. government officials such as former secretary of defense William Perry, every U.S. ambassador to China, and leading U.S. scholars of China. The China Forum is an educational and informational program aimed at helping Americans understand China, and does not advocate any specific policies towards China. The program is broadcast every Sunday morning at 9:00 am on WNVC Channel 56 throughout the Washington DC metropolitan area.
