China in Washington 2007
Willard Intercontinental Hotel, Washington, D.C.

November 8, 2007

On the evening of November 8, 2007 the U.S.-China Policy Foundation (USCPF) hosted its annual gala event. The reception and dinner, held at the historic Willard Intercontinental hotel in downtown Washington, DC, was presided over by Chinese Ambassador Zhou Wenzhong.

Ambassador Zhou welcomed the nearly 200 guests with a speech emphasizing the need for enhanced cooperation and relations between China and the U.S., particularly as China gears up to host its first Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008.

Our many distinguished guests included members of Congress and congressional staff, U.S. government officials, foreign embassy officials, local think-tank scholars, Asia experts, corporate executives, and others with an interest in U.S.-China relations.
