Two New Advisors


At the U.S.-China Policy Foundation Executive Board Meeting of September 24, 1997, the board appointed Ambassador Herbert Horowitz and Nancy Patton as Advisory Board members.

Ambassador Herbert Horowitz served as the U.S. Ambassador to The Gambia from 1986 to 1989. As a Foreign Service Officer, he held various State Department posts in Beijing, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Washington, D.C.

Nancy Patton is the former U.S. Department of Commerce Deputy Assistant Secretary, Asia & Pacific, and a former research grant manager at IBM. She is active in the Asian-American community.
